So this is how you do 5 hours transplant/surgeon consults at KU… they put you in a room and they come in/out all day long while you have to keep masks on the entire time. Because we have had just about every test known to man they can go to committee next Wednesday. He has check marked all the boxes of everything he needs it looks like so they only thing that would stop us at this point it sounds like is if his PSA comes back that he had cancer…. so let’s pray to god that PSA is negative and we have good news next Thursday!! The nephrologist and surgeon both said if he gets on list that we’re looking at less than a couple months…..we’ll still move forward with getting him listed at OKC/INTEGRIS so he’s double listed to improve his chances of getting “the call that there’s a match” sooner.
