Hey, There!
I’m Tonya.

Welcome!  I was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas.  Smack dab in the middle of the US.  I’m landlocked and never saw the ocean until I was in my 30’s.  I’ve always been physically active and love being social.  I was the runner up at the Jack Wong National Invitational Taekwondo Tournament in 4th grade (watch out – I still remember those forms and moves that were drilled into my head).  Right as I was ready to test for my brown belt I found and fell in love with cheerleading.  My new passion got me through high school and had cheerleading scholarship offers from multiple state universities.  As an adult I coached cheerleading and ran a local Jr. Football team (associated with my cheerleaders) and taking my kids to every sport they wanted to participate in. I birthed two daughters and both girls fell in love and excelled in softball.  I was bound and determined that they would never blame me for their lack of ability/finances to go away to college so we were that sports family.  Tournaments every weekend, team practices weekly, and those private coaching lessons.

I have an MBA in Business Management and I currently own my own Supply Chain Management Business. I support Spacex and FACC when their suppliers aren’t delivering on time.  I support everything from raw material production to composites, sheet metal, and final processing.  I’ve been in aerospace for 15 years.

Totally Tonya

I met my husband, Kevin after 10 years of being a single mom.  I went to work at a new company and on the 1st day of work he LITERALLY ran into me as we both rounded a corner as they were showing me the facility.  He had his head down looking at a report and ran smack into me.  While I thought he was a jerk in production meetings, we found that we had lots of things in common including our love for the St. Louis Cardinals, our kids all played softball/baseball (his son also played football), and we both loved the University of Kansas KU Jayhawk basketball team.  We differ on football teams as he’s a 49’ers fan and I’m a diehard Denver Bronco’s fan but we manage during football season.  We’ve been together since 2006 but finally got married in 2012.  I had to pick a date that he’d never forget and his number when he played sports was 2… so 1/2/12.  He had no excuses to ever forget our anniversary.  We were married on a baseball field at Lawrence Dumont Stadium on a freezing cold day in Kansas.  A local news station heard of our families love for sports and how that had sealed our relationship and the non-traditional wedding we had planned.  I pulled up to the baseball stadium expecting a small handful of friends and family and instead had 12 news crews running to me.  Our wedding was broadcast as a news clip from coast to coast.  It was intended to be so small that I had told my sister not to worry about flying in from Arizona to attend.  The next morning both she and my nephew were asked “hey did you see that story about a couple from your hometown that got married on a baseball field?!?”  To their surprise it was us. I’ll never live that down.

My marriage allowed me to become a boy mom for the first time!  I love my bonus kids just as if they were my own. Blending a family is no small feat! So we’re a family of four adult kids 28, 28, 26, and 25.  Each of our kids attended college AWAY FROM HOME on sports scholarships (goal met).  I love being busy and having kids leave home for college and the rest of their life left me with a lot of time on my hands.

I decided to join direct sales and quickly jumped to the top of the payplan with Perfectly Posh in 2014.  I am still with Posh and love sharing ways that you can pamper yourself but after a few years I needed something else. If you haven’t figured out I think I might have some ADHD lol.  At the end of 2019 I found a start company called Dipsy Dip.  I wasn’t sure I wanted to be with another DS company but decided that I wanted the discount while doing my nails because it fit RIGHT in with saving money and taking care of myself.  I’m currently frontline with the company and one of the top leaders in the company. We’ve built a team of over 140 entrepreneurs in less than 8 months.

In December 2018, my husband was diagnosed with end stage renal failure and we have been on a dialysis journey to transplant for the past 18 months.  I’m his biggest advocate and navigating the medical world is not for the weak minded.

I still love to workout because I love sweet treats.  I decided a couple years ago that even chunky girls can run a small marathon so i run as often as I can to get over the “I suck at this phase”.  Some days its easier than others but I keep at it!

So that’s a little about me.  It can be narrowed down to aerospace A to Z, entrepreneur, family, beach lover, St. Louis Cardinals, KU Jayhawks, and Denver Broncos.  Never a dull moment and never a time I’m not going a 100 mph. If you’ve read this far you are awesome!! I can’t wait to get to know you all a little bit more through our website. My goal is to share with you Nail Care, Pampering, Navigating the medical world as a caregiver, and maybe a little travel.
