Don’t forget about yourself, especially in this crazy COVID time!! Your mental health and pampering of yourself is just as important as drinking water. We were released from the hospital on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning I enjoyed a 35 minute shower. I didn’t feel bad about all that water and I was happy that we were in a hotel because I didn’t lose any hot water during that extremely long shower. Before I jumped in the shower I was unpacking my toiletries bag and saw that I had a couple sample face masks in my bag. I didn’t hesitate. I quickly tore up that little sample and applied some Posh Cackle Spackle to my face. I knew that I hadn’t been taking care of my skin the prior 5 days while we’d been in the hospital. I’m pretty sure one day I just ran a wet washcloth over my face to wake me up. That tingly peppermint feeling on my face felt SOOO good and I’m pretty sure I left the mask on for 15 minutes because I wanted to tighten more pores. It was 15 minutes that I sat on the couch in the hotel and just took some deep breaths regenerating myself. If you look closely over my shoulder you’ll see that all my bags are still packed up but for those 50 mins in totality, all I cared about was taking care of me!!
